Westgate Las Vegas: When this sports book originally opened in 1986, it set the standard for a new generation of race and sports books in town. Boasting 350 seats, it soon became known as the original 'SuperBook,' the eighth wonder of the gambling world. The Superbook features 30,000 square feet with 28 giant screens, and one massive 15 by 20-foot screen for a grand total of more than 60 viewing monitors.

Planet Hollywood: Despite its intimate size, Planet Hollywood's race and sports book is cleverly designed, making every seat perfect. Seating areas are arranged stadium-style, and the 33 plasma TVs are strategically placed on the bottom level for optimum viewing. The surrounding sports bar has additional seats and TVs and is a comfortable, modern place to enjoy a drink and catch some action. However, neither the sports bar nor book has a big-screen TV.
Wynn: Steve Wynn's resort boasts one of the most luxuriant and exciting sports books.It merges state-of-the-art, multiple screened action with a deep wood-toned lounge setting. There are 37 plasmas and three big screens, the largest of which is 12 feet by 12 feet. Just off the main floor of this stunning resort, the Wynn sports book is a popular place for high-rolling sports fans when the game gets going.

At Mayfair Supper Club at the Bellagio, Mayfair After Dark returns with 11 p.m. shows on Fridays and Saturdays that blend live musical acts and performances with food and bottle service. Think of it as an interactive dance party with musical arrangements and deejays. Then in the fall, Pacha Group’s Lío takes over the Mayfair Supper Club for two weeks, combining Las Vegas and Ibiza with what the restaurant calls “glamour, mischief, and breathtaking over-the-top performances.” Reservations are required at 702-693-8876.
Over at the Excalibur, fans can eat tomato soup and Cornish game hen with their hands during Tournament of Kings when it returns on Wednesday, July 14. The show six nights a week brings the tale of King Arthur as knights riding horses joust, ladies in waiting dance, and a fire wizard Mordred brings a dash of drama. Fun fact, since 1990, the show purchased 6.7 million game hens. The show on Monday and Friday at 6 p.m. as well as Wednesday through Thursday and Saturday through Sunday at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. starts at $41.87 online.
Last fall, Wynn Las Vegas revamped its Lake of Dreams show. Dine at SW Steakhouse or Lakeside on the patio at either restaurant, or grab a cocktail at Parasol Down to watch a show with 12 new acts set to a range of songs, complete with rolling emojis, a flying astronaut, a singing frog, a mermaid, and even a shark fin roaming the lake beneath a waterfall. The show is free and runs nightly every half hour beginning at dusk.
In July, Wynn opens Delilah from the H.wood Group with a piano and stage ready to entertain. Servers wearing white jacket tuxedos and flapper dresses, and a band playing on stage set the entertainment vibe of the space designed by Todd-Avery Lenahan, president and chief creative officer of Wynn Design & Development.
Downtown, Marriage Can Be Murder pops up at Hennessey’s Tavern with its whodunit format dinner show. Participants choose one of four dinner options — think steak, grilled chicken breast, pasta marinara, or a burger and fries — and then try to figure out who murderer is. The next show arrives on June 11, with additional shows on June 26-27 at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $74.
